Running a project

Once a job is won, the project workspace tracks the money and the paperwork from start to handover.

Progress claims

Your schedule of values breaks the contract into claimable items. Each claim period, enter the percentage complete for each item and TradeForm works out what to claim this time, what has been claimed to date, and what is left. The claim becomes a document you can send.

Variations

A variation is a change to the contract scope or price. Record the variation, price it, and send it for approval. Approved variations flow into the contract total so your claims stay correct without double-handling.

RFIs

A request for information keeps questions to the architect or client on the record. Raise an RFI, track whether it is open or answered, and keep the answer attached to the project so nothing gets lost in email.

Site diary

The diary is your daily record: who was on site, the weather, what happened, and any delays. A consistent diary is your best protection if a dispute comes up later.

Defects and sign-off

Track defects through to close so nothing slips at handover. Each item records what is wrong, who owns it, and whether it is fixed.

Keeping it together

Everything above lives on the one project, so a claim, a variation, and a diary entry all point at the same job. Ask BuilderBot about a project and it reads across these records to answer.
